Hi this is Eric and I just want to talk to you today about a charity drive which involves
drinking wine and tasting wine.
And if you'll have a look here
it's "Corks for a Cure"
"wine tasting for charity"
And this is run by a charity they they, it's called
Cure Search for Children's Cancer
so they they raise money
to, to
for research to try to find a cure for children's cancer
and so they're having a great event in this June.
And let's see, it's from from Friday June 3 to Sunday June 5.
And it says a three-day event
and you can visit fifteen
different wineries.
They they have a limit of five wineries per day
which i think is probably
pretty much enough for anyone.
And they say here the weekend wine passport you can buy a weekend wine password
that costs fifty dollars.
So only fifty dollars for three days of wine tasting.
And it includes a complimentary tasting
at participating wineries and here's a list of all the different wineries,
tasting rooms and commemorative wine glasses admission to the V.I.P. wine and cheese
kickoff reception
and discounts at hotels discounts at restaurants
discounts on wine purchases that's a nice one there.
And there's yeah twenty different wineries are participating.
And there's a lot of really good ones are participating.
And this is a good one here Babcock, Brander is very famous.
Buttonwood is kind of a local favorite
and Coquelicot is a very good one.
Curtis a famous one too for Rhone-style wines.
And Firestone, Firestone's anyway, a big place very famous place Foley, they make excellent wine.
Koehler as well, very very good wine, Lincourt.
So a lot of good wineries, ah Tinsley is fantastic and Zaca Mesa
these are both world-class wineries.
So a lot of good choice for
what wine...wineries and it's all
for a good cause. so I recommend checking that out,
and going on this this wine tasting tour
starting from June 3.
Thanks for listening
