My name is Susette Kelo and this was my home. The government took my home away from me and
through eminent domain destroyed the home of my neighbors, so private developer could make money on the
land where we used to live.
You can help me make sure that nothing like this ever happens again.
You could help me fight eminent domain abuse across our country.
Monday June 23rd marks the 3rd anniversary of the United States Supreme Court
decision that took away my home, and gave developers the right to take away yours.
On that day,
please consider making a small donation.
Just 25, 50, or 100 dollars or whatever you can afford to the Institute
for Justice.
IJ fought for my home and the homes of my neighbors for seven
long years and they are still fighting to protect homes, small businesses, churches and
farms from eminent domain abuse
nationwide.
On Kelo day,
Monday June 23rd please make a donation of 25, 50, or 100 dollars
or whatever you can afford to the Institute for Justice at
IJ.org.
Working together
we will send a message to those in power across the country that we care about our homes and
that the abuse of eminent domain must be stopped.
100% of the money raised on that day will be used to help IJ fight
eminent domain abuse.
Pledge today on IJ.org for a reminder to donate on June 23rd.
A small donation on that day will make a big difference in protecting your home tomorrow.
