In 1984, I was walking down the street and I saw a brochure.
The brochure was for the California AIDS Ride. Sponored by Tangeray. And the event manager was Dan Palotta.
So I decided, I need something to tell the grandchildren!
So I embarked on a bicycle journey. 7 days, 575 miles, from San Francisco to West Hollywood in the fight against the AIDS Pandemic.
And althouugh, I left San Francisco with 3 dollars in my pocket.
A un-repaired bike. No place to stay when I arrived in Los Angeles. And no way of possibly coming back to San Francisco. I was broke!
But somehow, I made it back to San Francisco, California.
Since then, I have cycled that journey 11 times.
11 times, I have rode 575 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles in the fight against the AIDS Pandemic.
Who do I ride for?
The San Francisco AIDS Foundation & who ever else needs assistance.
I think it's very important in life to assist in relieving the suffering of others.
Therefore, I have continuosly participated in the California AIDS Ride Event.
In May of 2009, I will embark on my 12th Journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles with an event called AIDS Lifecycle.
AIDSLifecycle helps support the medical, educational and consuling services of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. It is a great cause!
So see what you can do! Maybe you can help me raise my 3 hundred - excuse me - I mean 3 thousand dollar minimal to participate? Every penny counts!
Give what you can give today!
And if you would ike to read more about the AIDSLifecycle Event, The San Francisco AIDS Foundation oe myself - http://ynottony.com

Wishing the best of all possilbe worlds,
Iyengar Yoga Teacher, 12th Year California AIDS Ride / AIDSLifecycle Cyclist, Tony Eason. Ciao!
