So we've got a story to tell you.
A couple of weeks ago 2PM released a video "Fly to Seoul"
We were actually there while they were filming it
and were invited to film some of it ourselves. Here's how it all went down.
So, a couple of months ago we were contacted by someone at YouTube
and they wanted us to do an interview with 2PM while they were
shooting this video. That's pretty freaking sweet!
So, anyhow, we arrived at the scene of the video and we were all ready:
We had our questions ready, our camera and mic were ready,
and we even had a CD that they were gonna sign and we were gonna give away.
It was gonna be great! Unfortunately, things didn't work out that way.
While they were shooting the video, one of their reps told us that since this was
outdoors and there wasn't anywhere that we could go away
and hide to do the interview we would have to postpone the video for the next day.
They said something about fans might go nuts and the interview
would turn out sour. So we were invited to do the interview the next night
when they were filming the club scene of the video and we would do
our interview then. So we did!
We came back the next day and again we waited a long time,
because, you know, these things aren't shot quickly,
they have to set up and everything, but we were ok with that,
because this was gonna be a great opportunity.
Anyhow, 2PM started to leave their trailer and we were all ready
and all set to do the interview. 2PM knew about the interview,
their managers and reps knew about the interview.
Everyone knew about the interview...
except...one guy, in middle management didn't know about the interview,
and after a little bit of a kerfuffle, everything got cancelled,
ahhhhh :(
Not that we're upset! ahhhh :(
Anyways, we decided that we would reenact how we imagined 2PM's interview to go.
Hi everybody! I'm here with Taecyeon from 2PM!
I'm really really excited! Teacyeon, it's great to meet you.
Can I get you to sign this for me? [NO PROBLEM!]
There you go!
Um, ok, sorry. So, you have a lot of international fans now,
your fan base is growing, so, I'm wondering if you have any
message or anything for your international fans.
I want to give a shoutout to all my fans overseas, especially
Europe, the United States, and Canada, because Canada's great!
Oh! Awesome! I'm from Canada! [I KNOW!]
Oh cool, so, umm, if people are coming to Korea,
what's your favorite place to go? What would you recommend what area they should go to?
A couple of areas I'd recommend are Samchungdong: that's a really nice area
Hongdae's really hip and cool, but if you want to go outside of Seoul
you definitely have to check out Bucheon, because Bucheon's great!
I heard it's a really good city, too. [IT IS!] It's my city!
So last question for you: what's your favorite food,
or anything you recommend for people coming to Korea to eat or try?
I would definitely recommend when people come to Korea they should
eat their kimchi. Yeah, that's right. EAT YOUR KIMCHI.
THAT'S RIGHT! 2PM SAYS EATYOURKIMCHI!
*singing* "I Love eatyourkimchi, yes it is true!"
*awkward silence*
This interview is finished.
Yeah, that's probably how the interview would have gone.
Anyhow, sorry we don't have a real interview for you
and sorry we don't have a real autographed CD,
but since we do have an extra copy of the 2PM cd,
if you want it, head over to our website www.eatyourkimchi.com
Click on the Twitter button below the video, and we'll mail this out to one person next week
