Hello everybody,
I am David Laroche from the serie Wake Up Calls.
It is the morning, time to wake-up. Let me remind you of the reflexes.
We will see them later this week, on emotions and energy.
Straighten up, lengthen your spine,
because here we have a spot called solar plexus.
Solar plexus means the radiating center. But not only radiation as charisma,
it is also the center of your internal radiation, your well-being.
You know I give lectures. Next week, you will be with me,
live from Morocco, as I will be giving a lecture for a company there.
I give a lot of lectures, everywhere in France, Belgium, Swiss, Canada,
and more and more now in English, in the United States.
People often ask me: How can you be standing from 8am to 7pm
with tons of energy?
Sometimes I have a seminar for the day, then a lecture in the evening, or even two.
I can do that for days: seminar, then 2 lectures and again seminar for the day and 2 lectures.
How do I do to get the energy? I straighten up. So Wake Up Calls,
creating energy in the morning allows to have an inspiring life.
Because if you stand like that, thinking what I am going to do today,
what is important? Your body is like that, bent, your eyes sleepy.
You believe that you need coffee to have energy. "I need a coffee", or "I need cigarettes".
Hey!
Do you need something exterior to create the life that inspires you?
Wake-up!
You are the ones creating the life that inspires you; it is not coffee, not red-bull.
At one point you have to wonder, are you responsible for your life?
Do you take your life in your hands 100% ? Do you involve yourself?
Here we are talking about identity so I am not going to challenge you too much on that.
Let's go back to a new point.
We saw why identity is important in the previous video.
We saw the fact to know who you are, to be proud of yourself everyday,
by creating actions that make you proud. We saw the value system.
I have a question that you may find weird: what is your mission today?
You know, the secret for motivation is to do things for you and for others.
I think that we arrive on earth with a mission. I think we arrive to bring something to others.
I am not talking about being a new Gandhi. Why not?
But I think we do have something to bring.
If you are an excellent baker, you bring something around you.
If you are an excellent restorer, you bring things around you.
But the thing is, what do you bring?
The more value you will bring to others, the more you will collect.
People first want to harvest, then sow. My grandfather is a farmer.
There are rules to understand. If you want to harvest you have to sow.
If you want to collect from people, you have to give away.
If you want to collect value in your life, if you want to have more money in your life,
if you want more network, love... Learn to give.
Let money flow, let love flow, let your knowledge flow, let your network flow.
You want more network? Let it flow. We all have missions here.
I believe that clarifying these missions literally changes your life.
Why? Because it gives a meaning beyond yourself.
Beyond your ego, beyond saying:
"I want more money", "I want to be happier for myself", "Me, me, me, me..."
You see your boss, you say you want a pay rise for yourself.
You have an interview, you think about yourself.
You talk to your friends and only think of you.
It is always you, you, you, you... Ah, it is not egocentrism, sorry (smile).
Of course I was like that too. Sometimes I still am.
It is important to think about oneself. In fact, you were born for yourself.
For you and for others at the same time.
I worked for a year at UNICEF, voluntarily; I trained them in communication.
People there have a big heart but forgot to help themselves.
So, the secret is helping others and help yourself. If you help yourself, help others.
It creates synergy.
As an example, I am going to share my mission with you.
My mission is to share the message that it is possible and it starts now.
If you have dreams, it is doable
and it does not start in a year, not in two years, not in six months.
It starts right now. It starts today, by implementing an action.
I created this serie to align myself with my mission.
My mission is to help people click and find inspiration to make small changes in their life.
Not necessarily big changes, but small changes.
Gandhi said: be the change you wish to see in the world.
I like to say, be the change you wish to see in your family, in your friends;
be the change you wish to see in your children, your parents, in your couple...
This means that you have a role, for you and for others. What do you want to bring?
Why am I talking about this today? We saw what you want to create in your life.
You will be able to create big things if it is coherent with your objectives, who you are,
and the mission you have on earth. You may not find that in one snap of the fingers.
The question to know your mission is: what do you love to give?
What strengths can you exploit that do not take energy and are coherent with you?
Since your childhood, when you give something to someone,
what do you give? Some give network easily;
for others it is energy, whether it is high or low energy (serenity, peace...)
Some people give expertise, others advice;
some ask good questions such as coaches;
Some people are here to animate, awaken the senses.
Some people are here to make others laugh, such as humorists.
People who realize an inspiring life, and who usually attract money,
who are proud of themselves, in the end of their life,
these are people who are in coherence with their life purpose.
An Australian nurse, Bronnie Ware, asked people how they felt.
95% said that they regretted not doing the things that were important to them and others.
95%. Do you want to be part of the 5% or the 95%?
Think about it. See you tomorrow.
