Barbara Walters, I think you've probably heard of her. She's interviewed thousands of people,
and she says the one thing that she notices about mature individuals is they have a tough
time sitting and a tough time getting up. Well one thing that really helps every day
is to learn to do a few squats. And all you really have to do is stand here, go down,
hold it, stretch the hamstrings out, and go up. At first, if you have a little problem
with that, put your hands on the counter, go down, and go up. Now, whether you have
a dog or not, go walk the dog. Sometimes they walk you, but it makes walking a little bit
more interesting. If you've got a neighbor, walk their dog, but get up and get out. America
has a problem and that is we spend too much time on the couch and not enough time just
doing natural things and have fun doing them. It could be the mall and holding hands and
a romantic dinner, but let's go walk the dog.
