Hey Cookaholics, Chef Kendra Here and today we're making what I like to call any day rice.
We have some rice here that we're going to sauté in butter and oil under medium heat
until the butter has melted.
Then we're going to add some chicken broth, some black pepper , stir it up and bring the
mixture up to a boil.
We're going slap the lid on and turn the heat to the lowest setting.
We're going to let the rice cook for 20 minutes. Then remove it from the heat and let it sit
five more minutes with the lid on.
In the meantime we're adding a little oil to this pan and adding in our onions, tomatoes
and peppers.
We're going to cook them under medium heat while giving them a little stir for about
3 or 4 minutes.
Next, we're going to mix the tomato, onion, and pepper mixture with the rice and then
we're going to eat it.
