Hi, this is Vicki Walker from Expert Village. Today for the purpose of our demonstration
on how to make a butterfly seat cover, we are going to work in this clip on the bottom
portion of the seat cover. I'm removing the pins from the pattern that we have cut out
and then I would put the fabric right side together and pinned them. Before we sew the
seam, I want to make sure they are going to match up. Be careful not to stick my finger.
I'm ready to sew. I'm using a 5/8 seam allowance according to the instructions on my pattern.
This should be almost done and I would reinforce the bottom so it would not come loose. We
would finish off our seam in a minute to cover the raw edges and that is all there is to
sewing the bottom section of our seat cover.
