Many of NACAC's National College Fairs offer online student registration.
Student registration is an easier and much faster way for colleges and universities to get your information
so they can follow up with you after the fair.
This technology eliminates the need for filling out information cards at every booth
and gives you more time to visit with all the schools you're interested in.
The registration process for students is simple and makes any visit to a National College Fair more efficient.
Students may register online at www.gotomyncf.com
Choose the appropriate fair from the menu and enter contact information, academic interests,
graduation year, name of high school, and other characteristics and submit the form.
When you submit your student registration a personalized bar code is produced.
This should be printed and taken to the fair.
The barcode acts as an electronic ID and can be scanned by college representatives to collect information
and send you follow up information about their institution.
If you lose your barcode before the fair, you can go back to www.gotomyncf.com, scroll down the page and click the reprint button.
Select the fair you are attending and enter the phone number you used when you registered to reprint your barcode.
Parents and counselors may also register as a way to get information to the colleges and universities
on behalf of their children or students. This can be helpful if students are not able to attend a college fair.
Registration is not required as all fairs are free and open to the public.
The barcode is not an admittance pass, but rather a quick method for the colleges and universities
to easily gather follow up information and to send interested students additional materials.
For fairs that don't offer student registration, students, parents, and counselors should bring information cards
or mailing labels to the fair.
Fairs that offer student registration have computers and printers available onsite for those who didn't register ahead of time.
To avoid long lines, we encourage students to register before arriving at the fair.
Need more information? Feel free to contact us. And we look forward to seeing you at an upcomming National College Fair.
