Hi this is Ruchi on behalf of Expert Village. Now we're done with the whole Motif and as
you can see it has come out very well. And looking quite bright and beautiful than the
copper one. This Zari work is very popular in India and it's one of the traditional embroideries
of Gujarat and Rajasthan. And it looks quite intricate, you know. As you can see the work
which we do with the help of chain stitches normally with the series of loops. And it
looks really intricate. And this proper Motif looks very traditional in the metallic colors
like silver, golden and copper. With Zari work any kind of fabric can be combined. Right
now we're using this Organza and we'll layer it with a Crepe lining for the upper yolk
of a suit. And we can use it with many fabrics like Crepe, Jorjet and Chiffon. If you do
more intricate work it?s not advisable to use Chiffon because as it is it's very light.
But with Jorjet it's possible and Crepe also. And we have done it on Velvet fabric as well.
And burned out Velvet fabrics also. And Organza's also quite good enough to hold the weight
of the Zari work. Basically you need a stiff fabric for the Zari work because the thread,
you know, the loops are very sharp. So that it doesn't tear off the base fabric.
