Charles: Going here to the technical college changed my life.
Everybody throughout high school
kind of knew I was going to go into the military;
I knew it too.
When I got out of the military
I was kind of bouncing around from job to job,
my wife ... kind of convinced me;
she's like: "Why don't you go back to school
... get a career going instead of just doing odd jobs?"
I enrolled in the tool and die program
because I heard it was one of the best.
I like the fact that... you get a raw block ...
you know ... it's almost like forming clay.
It's the meticulous part of it ...
it's the fine detail that you need to have;
and that's what really attracted me to this field.
I approached everything like it was a mission.
I was a soldier, and proud to serve my country.
Graduating from college lets me serve my family, myself and my community.
[To audience] "Though we have all come about it in different ways,
we have all won the battles or emerging this place victorious."
Basically for me, it's just another chapter in my life.
This is just another step forward.
Gotta move on; just keep marching.
