Yaoo and Welcome to a new competitive 6v6 tips series by Huhy. I'm your host Extine.
These short series are going to cover different tactics used by the highest division teams
in both America and Europe.
The first game I am going to talk about is ESEA's Season 15 invite match between team
iT and team lost in translation.
Right now on the screen, we can see the match statistics of the game and as always,
there is no surprise that Lansky is on top of the board with the most damage done.
You may now ask, why did you highlight Lansky's name?
It is quite simple, because of him, team iT managed to push onto last point of Gullywash
using an unlock called the Concheror.
This video will showcase the successful push from the second point to last and I will cover
everything that is happening at that time.
But before we go into the game, I would like to quickly let people know what the Concheror does.
Quote from the official TF2 wiki site:
„Like the Buff Banner, the Concheror provides a specified effect for surrounding teammates,
and charges through dealing damage.
Holding down the primary fire button will delay the effect until the button is released."
So basically, all Lansky had to do in-game is try and find an angle to spam rockets in
order to start charging the Concheror.
Right now we can see Lansky's POV, but before we go any further, lets see what happened
a few minutes ago in the game. Xalox and Rr are both respawning soon.
"Lost in translation" has a perfect last hold setup, with a heavy next to the point, a pyro
top left and a sniper next to the resupply.
It is pretty much impossible to push the last point, because both teams will have an uber charge soon.
However, Lansky swapped the shotgun for the Concheror when Xalox and Rr were spawning.
Team iT's soldier Lansky is going to rotate from the lobby to river in order to charge the Concheror.
Once Lansky is done charging, team iT exchanges the ubercharges on the right side of the last point.
Immediately after the exchange, team iT switches to the river side to use the Concheror
to try and capture the last point of Gullywash.
Lansky, Rr, Xalox and B4nny are the four key players to watch here.
Lansky uses the Concheror, B4nny and Rr go under while Xalox is putting stickies on the capture point.
The concheror gives extra speed to B4nny and Rr, so that they get to the point quickly.
Xalox has few stickies on the ground already, the pyro gets juggled and the point gets captured by team iT.
That's it for this episode. If you enjoyed it and want to see more competitive 6v6 tips,
