Today, on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be test fitting the Thule Bed Rider Locking
Aluminum 2-bike rack, part number TH822XT. To begin our test fit, we'll go ahead
and open our tail gate. Then, we'll place our bike rack into the bed of our truck. When
placing in our bike rack, we want to make sure that each end is lined up with each other.
We'll be using the mounting holes on our bed rails as a reference guide to line up
our bike rack. Here on the ends of our bike rack, we have L brackets. We want to make
sure that the shorter part of the L bracket is sitting on top of our bed rail and that
the longer end of our bracket is sitting on the inside of our bed rail. Here on the passenger's
side, we'll bring out our telescoping end by unscrewing it and then making it snug
against the bed rail of our truck. Once we have both ends snug, we can shut the quick
release lever to lock our carrier in place in our truck bed.
