Hi, this is Aida with Style United.
In your 30s, you may start to see some changes in your skin
and you may want to start looking at some different makeup
applications and some different things that
you may want to do with your hair.
So some of the things that you may begin to see in your 30s is
you might start to notice some fine lines and wrinkles,
you may start noticing some dryness.
Once you start to see those things, this is an opportune
time for you to begin a new skincare regimen
or make adjustments to the one that you currently have.
You may also want to include a treatment to help with
the fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes,
or if you notice any around your mouth.
When it comes to your hair, Danielle, I love the fact that
you have this cute crop look and the great thing about your 30s
is that when you're young, you try all these new things,
but your 30s is a great transition time.
You can still experiment with new things but if you're not
as old as Danielle and you don't want to go as short as she has,
try to keep your hair looking beautiful.
If you have long hair, you may want to try to put it
in an updo that's not dated, but still young.
For your makeup in the 20s, I don't know if you tried,
but I know I tried all kinds of crazy things, but then,
as I started getting older, I wanted two things.
I wanted something a little bit more classic, but also, you may
want to go with something that's a little simpler.
CoverGirl has this great product, Smoky Shadowblast.
It gives you a smoky eye in two steps and in one product.
So you want to start with step one and it's clearly marked as
step one, and this you can put all over the base of your eye
into the center and up to the brow.
Step two, you apply into the crease
and on the base of the eye.
I would suggest to you, to keep this look going for most of the
day, to set it with a powder and just apply it all over the lid.
So the next step is a blush, and a lot of women
in their 30s and 40s, they tend to skip this
step, but this still gives you a nice youthful glow.
This product by CoverGirl is called Instant Cheekbones
and it has three different shades.
It has a darker shade, a highlighting shade
and the main shade.
You can use the main shade, but if you want some brightness
around your eyes, you can use the highlighting shade
on the higher part of your cheekbone and around your eyes.
The final step will be your lips.
Lip Perfection by CoverGirl is a great option for women
in their 30s especially if you're starting to experience
dryness in your lip area.
It has conditioning agents to keep your lips moist.
And then finally, we want to finish setting
with the setting powder.
One last tip, if you have unruly eyebrows or if when you're
setting your makeup with your powder, some powder gets
in the eyebrow area, you can use Professional Clear Mascara
by CoverGirl and just set the eyebrows.
This will remove any powder, but it will also
keep your eyebrows in place.
So just remember in your 30s not to be afraid to experiment,
but you can take a very classic and simple look
for your busy lifestyle.
