Hi! My name is Adria. I am one of the professional jugglers here at Expert Village.com. We are
doing scarf juggling. This is the third or fourth in the series. We have just learned
the basic motion of the arms when doing a cascade. We have learned over the top and
we have learned how scarfs differ from balls. With balls you throw them in the air, with
scarfs you lift and drop. We are now going to take the over the top trick and we are
going to take every single scarf from the right hand and lift it over the top. While
taking every single throw from the left hand and still doing the underhand throw and if
you will notice, we are dropping it a little lower than the right hand and this gives us
the same half shower pattern that we had with the ball. It is much simpler because the scarfs
move much slower than the balls and we have plenty of time to catch. Now we remember anything
we do with the right hand, we should be able to do with the left hand. So again, we are
going to take that same grip we learned holding the scarf separately one in two fingers and
one in the other two fingers and we will throw one over the top and the right hand throws
underneath… one more time here we go and the right hand throws are underneath placed
lower than the left hand throws and every single scarf from the left hand is over the
top and every single scarf from the right hand is an underhanded throw. So we get over
the top with the left hand. Again, we have the half shower leading with the right and
we have the half shower. We have scarfs; we have half shower leading with the left. Let
me do that one again. We have half shower leading with the left.
