According to a new study from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management, your
co-workers might not be as tolerant as you think.
Researchers surveyed unionized workers in female-dominated jobs and public service employees
in male-dominated ones to get the results. (Via ABC, University of Toronto)
They determined middle-class men who take on more household and childrearing responsibilities

"It shows a little bit more the equality of men and women." (Via KXRM)
... are more likely to be given a hard time in the workplace, as opposed to men who take
on more traditional gender roles. (Via KXRM)
And the same goes for mothers with "unconventional child care arrangements" and women without
any children at all. (Via CBS, WTAE)
So what does this tell us? The study suggests following gender roles in the home has more
influence on how you're treated at work than how you do your job. This puts pressure on
people to conform to traditional gender roles at home.
