>> Jonathan Griffith: We were impressed with the professionalism and certainly the quality
of the product that we got.
>> Carla Obiol: I found it to be very easy. The staff was very accommodating.
>> Sgt. Steve Greene: On the relationship, the working conditions, the environment is
just outstanding.
>> Sheree Vodicka: The staff are so friendly and very helpful, and they really kind of
get you set up well in advance.
>> Doug Hoell: It’s easily accessible from where my agency sits.
>> Pamela Lloyd-Ogoke: In terms of personality, everyone here is so friendly and welcoming
and just really open-minded.
>> Jonathan Griffith: APT was instrumental in providing us with a video that’s used
to orientate folks to our park. We have over 200,000 visitors a year here, and there are
not very many staff to get the word out as to what’s going on in the park and then
how the park was established; lots of common questions that everyone has and now we have
a mechanism for everyone to see that without staff necessarily having to be there and in
place.
>> Sheree Vodicka: Well, one of the ad campaigns that we do is our Kasey Kane ad where we feature
Kasey Kane talking about drinking water and getting more physical activity, and that’s
been wildly successful because of APT’s work because we’ve had some great partnerships
that have gotten us some media exposure around that. That’s been really a lot of fun for
our consumers and a lot of fun for us.
>> Doug Hoell: When we had hurricane Floyd, former Governor Hunt sat here in your studio
and was able to address all the network television outlets to be able to get information out
to the public and to solicit support for the State of North Carolina where we really needed
some help. And I think it was important and it did a good thing for us.
>> Pamela Lloyd-Ogoke: APT has provided us a lot of different variety of sources actually.
In the beginning, we started with the public service announcements, the PSA’s, and then
we added the print ads and also we added the billboards on the highways, and of course
OPEN/net, the TV show. We’ve done several of those over the years as well. So APT has
really helped guide us to where we can maximize our best outreach through those avenues.
>> Sgt. Steve Greene: APT has helped with DWI, a move-over law, things of that nature
where we’re getting it out to the public, the citizens of North Carolina and other states
when they come to North Carolina, as far as our laws and what is expected once they come
into the State of North Carolina. So APT has really helped in that area,
>> Carla Obiol: Our relationship with APT has allowed us to not only participate in
the OPEN/net live TV show, but certainly as we’re having state-wide campaigns we have
launched information on the TV show, we’ve used APT to help us videotape trainings as
well as information that we’ve used in a classroom setting. So that’s been an effort
to do a number of things through APT.
>> Katie McDermott: We needed scheduling flexibility. We needed high quality production services.
We needed a professional studio environment, and we needed somebody who understood the
government system. So when we came to APT, it was a natural fit for us. We had the same
philosophy they had. APT has excellent production support services, a professional group of
people working there. I basically just had to say, “This is what we need.” That was
it. I could go back and focus on, you know, my panels, and my programs, and my audience,
and I knew APT would take care of the rest. And that was a tremendous help to us.
>> Doug Hoell: Absolutely. I think you all are a tremendous resource, and I think people
should certainly take advantage of a resource like we have here in the State of North Carolina.
>> Pamela Lloyd-Ogoke: If you’re looking for an opportunity to get your message out,
to serve more consumers and to learn about outreach strategies, then APT has the best
services for you.
>> Sgt. Steve Greene: Its just a great group, the APT personnel, the whole organization,
so I would recommend them to everyone.
>> Sheree Vodicka: Oh, I absolutely recommend APT. In fact, I’ve recommended you to most
of my colleagues that I work with in the division.
>> Katie McDermott: If you want to find somebody who really knows what to do with limited resources
in terms of fostering the kind of dialogue that’s important to do within government
so that you get agencies coordinating and you get the ideas out there, and you get the
decision making made that needs to be made, there’s no better partner than APT; there
really isn’t.
