SALES NUMBERS FOR THE FIRST HALF OF THE YEAR. BETWEEN JANUARY 1ST AND JUNE 30TH, THERE WERE
44 HOMES SOLD IN CORDERA. THE AVERAGE SELLING PRICE WAS JUST OVER $404,000...WHICH,
COINCIDENTALLY, WAS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THE AVERAGE LIST PRICES FOR THOSE HOUSES. THAT
TELLS US THAT BUYERS ON AVERAGE ARE PAYING 100 PERCENT OF THE LIST PRICE FOR HOUSES THEY
BUY IN CORDERA. THESE HOUSES SOLD IN AN AVERAGE OF JUST OVER
THREE MONTHS. HOWEVER, HALF OF THOSE 44 HOUSES SOLD IN UNDER A MONTH.
FOR COMPARISONS SAKE, THE AVERAGE SELLING PRICE IN EL PASO COUNTY OVER THAT SAME TIME
PERIOD WAS $235,000 WITH AN AVERAGE TIME ON MARKET OF 69 DAYS. CORDERA HOMES SELL FOR
MORE, BUT ALSO TAKE A BIT LONGER, THAN HOMES IN THE REST OF EL PASO COUNTY.
