Jon: Please don't try this at home.
Riley: You could get seriously injured, or even worse...
Jory: You'll be dead!
*theme song plays*
Jory: Is it a good idea to microwave this?
Hello, and welcome to...
Jory and Riley: ..."Is it a Good Idea to Microwave This?"
I'm your host, Jory Caron.
And I'm your sidekick, Riley McIlwain.
Jory: Riley, hand me my scepter!
*Riley makes whooshing noise*
Riley: Wait- are we doing another light bulb?!
Jon: What IS that thing?!
Jory: It is, like, an arc light from, like, a movie theater projection, Omni death ray, I think!
Riley: No, it's a XENON bulb, donated by Aaron Sisemore!
Riley: But why are we doing another light bulb?! We ALWAYS do light bulbs!
Jory: Look- look at that thing! Look at it!
Jon: It's tradition, and it's America's pastime!
Jory: (to Riley) Stare into it!
Riley: Light bulb-ing? Light bulbs- America's pastime!
Riley: Penelope!
Jon: Here's Penelope!
Riley: Stick her in!
Jory: Uh-oh! Oh, there we go!
Jory: (laughs) Oh, that's so perfect!
Riley: It looks like a warp core!
Jon: Nice!
Riley: Oh, no!
Jon: (in "Star Trek" voice) Warp core capacity to full power, Captain!
Jon: How long should we put it in there for?
Riley: Well, warp drive is only capable up to warp 10. That was the maximum amount of warp.
Jory: Ten minutes?
Riley: No...
Jon: So, 9.9!
Riley: 9.9 minutes! There we go! Good job!
Riley: (in "Star Trek" voice) Helm warp 1, engage!
*electricity buzzing*
Riley: Oh, God! Whoa! Did it spark?!
Jory: Oh, it's starting to heat up!
Riley: Oh, here it goes!
Jory: Do something!
Riley: Who was your favorite "Star Trek" captain?
Jon: My favorite "Star Trek" captain was Jean-Luc Picard.
Riley: Yeah, he was pretty good.
Jon: Can I say Will Riker? 'Cause he was eventually MADE captain.
Jon: Why isn't it, like, lighting up like it's, like a regular light bulb used to?
Jory: Well, the regular light bulbs have filaments. This just has an arc, I guess kind of like a spark plug.
Riley: I mean, I see somethin' red. What's the red in there? What's the...?
Jory: I don't know. Something might be heating up, which could be interesting.
Jon: It's gonna explode, isn't it?
Riley: (in exaggerated Boston accent) Imagine if it just killed us all and blinded us forever? That'd be terrible!
Jory: I mean, that's why it's kind of important to kill microwaves.
Jon: Dude, if this microwave were completely clean, this would still be a dud experiment.
Jory: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jon: The fact that we can't... This is a light bulb! This should be lighting up!
Jon: There's a reason we do light bulbs at the end of the season- because we're always gonna have a dirty microwave at the end of the season.
Jon: And we're hoping that if it was a light bulb, it would be, you know, we'd be able to see it!
Jory: You wanna end it?
Jon: It hasn't done anything yet. I don't think it's gonna.
Jory: Okay. (to Riley) You can end it.
*Riley turns off Penelope*
Jon: Release the xenon bulb!
Jon: Did it do anything?
Jory: Things usually do interesting stuff. Like, bulbs usually do interesting things because they have a filament.
Jory: This doesn't HAVE a filament!
Jory: So, you're probably wondering, is this a good idea or a bad idea?
Jory: I'm gonna go ahead and say "bad idea." In fact, worst light bulb yet!
Jon: And we've done one every season!
Jory: I mean, it LOOKS really cool, it looks really cool!
Riley: Mmm-hmm!
Jory: But still terrible!
Riley: Well, that's about all the time we have for...
Jory and Riley: ..."Is it a Good Idea to Microwave This?"
I'm your host, Jory Caron.
And I'm your sidekick, Riley McIlwain.
Jory: This one sucks! There will be a link somewhere to an experiment that we really like, okay? Go watch THAT!
Jon: This was super lame and dumb! Don't waste your time. Sorry we wasted yours! Goodnight!
*end credits play*
Riley: Light bulbs- America's pastime!
Jory: Defeating electricity since 1776!
Jon: Let's do it!
Jory: Defeating darkness...
Riley: Alright, go!
Jory: [Beep]! Goddamnit!
Riley: Alright, well...
