Roving Reporter Darwin 2013.
Haven't you ever wondered what people in high places are really like?
Well, they laugh.
They daydream.
And they even brainstorm ideas.
Proof that school isn't as useless as people think!
But that doesn't mean they don't do their jobs.
Lesley Taylor, NT team manager from NAPCAN.
And Megan Mitchell, National Children's Commissioner.
On our way.
From Darwin.
To Mandorah!
The creative students at the Belyuen School turned a map into a mural.
We are here!
Megan practicing some footy passes with the kids.
She got out pretty quick.
But she was still a good sport about it!
Heading inside after some eventful football.
Just look at those stunning murals.
They're all over the school.
Talking to the kids about the symbols of peace and happiness on this mural.
As the National Children's Commissioner, Megan really puts herself on the same level as the
kids she talks to.
As the Roving Reporter, I got to follow Megan around and take pictures of her everywhere
she went on her Big Banter.
The places that we visited really were an inspiration to how people can be happy with
what they have.
Even if it doesn't seem like it is as much as others.
This experience has taught me that no matter who you are, you can make a difference in
the world.
All you have to do is get out there.
This is Roving Reporter Christine signing off.
