So you’re at RMIT and you’re going to need some food, so I’m going to show you some places around RMIT City campus
where you can get something to eat, or just hang out with friends.
Firstly, you’re probably going to want to know the cheapest places to get food,
and it doesn’t get much cheaper than when the Student Union gives away free food in Bowen Street.
Where is all the free food?
It was yesterday.
And if you want to bring lunch from home, there are microwaves you can use to heat it up.
And barbeques you can book free of charge for yourself or for an event.
Want someone else to do the cooking?
There are cafeterias on campus which have a range of foods you can choose from.
If hamburgers and Chinese food aren’t your thing, you can get healthy, organic
and vegan food at Realfoods.
You can even volunteer there, because it’s run by the Student Union.
And if you feel like having some gourmet food, you can head to Pearson and Murphy’s café.
They even host live music performances organised by the Student Union. Other cafés on campus include Qupi near the Hub,
Café 57 near the School of Engineering and Café on Cardigan above the Carlton Library.
So now you know some of the places where you can eat on the City campus.
