All right, guys. Now this next move is very dangerous and it's very hard to do in slow
motion. I'm going to do my best for you. We're going to change from a knee bar to a calf
crush or a knee crush. The way that I like to do it from here is
I like to be inside an open guard, with my right foot posted. I'm going to post here,
delivering short elbows, overhand rights, left hooks to the liver.
From here what I'm going to do is I'm going to under hook this leg and I'm going to slide
my knee to the mat. Come out for the knee bar here. Now a lot of times what the guy
is going to do,the guy is going to try and roll and go belly down. Stop him here by putting
your leg here, put a calf crush and start pushing his foot toward the ceiling.
As you do that sit up. You want to get the back of your ankle right in this knee pit
here. Here, and put it to your chest and then sit up, reach for his waist. A lot of times
you won't have to go that far. But when it's real life go all the way up, grab his waist
and hug him. It will blow his knee out right away. That's how you transition from a knee
bar to a calf crush.
