Oh, you can call me L.B.
it's uh... short for nicknamed Jace give me when we were kids, but I'm older now...
trying to get passed it.
I grew up with Jace and Willie Robertson and I know Miss Kay, Si, and Phil.
all really nice folks and I've always been really happy for 'em.
That's why when Willie called me and said, "Hey you wanna come
work for Duck Commander, we're expanding the business" I said, "Man, I'd work for Duck Commander in a heartbeat JACK!"
And then when he said, you know...
"You wanna actually be on T.V. [ Duck Dynasty on A&E ] I was like............. yeah.
We drove on down and I brought my fiancee Holly with me thought maybe she could be on TV too...
Oh well
I always thought L.B. would be great on TV. I mean just look at that face
And those cheeks, those little cherub cheeks.
Oh you got a lil' something right there...
Well, producers already gave her a contract and a make up artist.
That's when they were like,
you need to audition. I was like, "What Jack?" but Jace Robertson come in and said
Willie Robertson couldn't just hire me outright, that I had to audition!
I thought I smelled a snipe hunt like when we were kids and stuff but... turns out
Jace Robertson was serious.
So I knew I needed to be serious too.
Cause I've seen what it takes to get on a TV Show!
Holly helped me with my outfit and got me all camera ready and then I asked the producers for a
Real Deal Hollywood Coach! [ Introducing Cris Judd ]
You have to fly
like the Duck.
You have to fly
like the Duck. FLY LIKE THE DUCK.
Do you hear me? Where are you going? HEY!
Hey if you want to be on TV you have to listen to what I'm telling you!
Give me Jazz Hands down
Jazz hands down!
Stand Up.
Now, you're proud to be an American! Look away.
Now, twirl off to freedom. Twirl.
Now, do the Happy Dance.
Come on happy dance, happy dance.
COME ON BE HAPPY!
do the happy dance! You got it? No.
Let's do this-
Music by Ward Boone - I still stand up
for old Red, White, and Blue/ Cause I love
This country just like all of y'all do/
Cause I love fact that I'm still free/ You know I'd die to
keep that right for you and me/ Well, I've had a few beers in the bar room/ And I love good times and old tunes/ And I love the sound of them there guitars/ And I love a girl with some good ol' southern charm/ Well, all my friends say they hate the change/ Seems like old Country Musics Dead/ Well I say it's still going strong as long as the Opry is still on/ And that Southern Sun it still burns my Neck Red/
Now I'm just waiting to find out if I got the job.
Holly's in a development meeting with the producers.
You gotta be a real good dancer to make Duck Calls.
