I want to have a close connection
with my professors.
The ratio between faculty and students
in my engineering courses are amazing.
I'm able to not only have the connection
with my professor in the classroom,
but he knows me by name.
He knows where I struggle
and where he can help me,
but not only that,
the resources they have given me,
the connections
that I have been able to obtain.
I enjoy the people.
You know the politeness,
just the atmosphere.
I feel so special that I feel
like it's very powerful
to say "hey I'm a Laker."
I'm able to do all these
different things.
I got the hands-on learning,
I got the theory, those are the things
that I appreciate.
I feel like the best way in order
to succeed in life is first
with your education.
Why? Because it liberates your mind,
you're able to think critically
about not just your career
but life in general.
I feel like that's one
of the biggest benefits
that you obtain while going
to Grand Valley.
