hello Leticia it's Monday I made my first video
you wanted to know what I did in that video and and what you can learn
so here we are YAY!
a video of
me making a video time
for the
intro so I've learnt a sssh-wow a lot of stuff
but I'm gonna focus on five things jump cuts
expressions framing
scripts and editing
the first thing I learnt was jump cuts are a double sided process
what this means is you have to do something while filming
to enable jump cutting to happen I've actually coined a term and it's
Live Self
Directing it gets to your mind
number two facial expressions are magnified
by like a hundred times on camera so I can't be doing this all the time
yeah it's not flattering and just for you here's a little slide show
of my beautiful expressions YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL
NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY WORDS CAN'T BRING ME DOWN
the third thing is framing now you've got to do whatever it takes
to make sure you get it (? lol) framing right that was probably my biggest mistake
in the first video now I have to help me
my beautiful Genevieve you can't see her at the moment
but here's a selfie pretty cute isn't it?
I currently have it on frame level six which is pretty much
six DVDs high and the rule of thirds
well
pictures are worth a thousand words and a video is a thousand pictures
I've got some words for you "I feel my heads cut off."
"It's probably cut off." "Slouch!"
intelligence four
you need your script I do not care what it is you're doing
you need a script Leticia you need it
the first video was all over the place there was no structure
it was just like WAILS
the whole way not interesting
five Hank believes that skill is honed by lack
and considering I have an abundance of lack we gon' get some skillz
so yeah it can be done it just takes patience
so Leticia don't forget to like the video
don't forget to subscribe as well the button's down there
and leave a comment I'd be ever so happy
but most of all don't forget the battle axe
I'll see you soon ARGH
