Hey Facebook! I wanted to do a quick eyebrow tutorial
this is what I do for my eyebrows, I've watched plenty of
YouTube videos and I've done what's best for me
and I want to show you guys what I do. First of all, I want to thank you guys
for all your support on Facebook and Instagram and all your comments and
your likes and your feedback on my makeup I really appreciate it.
and just continue to pray for me as I
continue my makeup journey. I'm a self-taught makeup artist
I've been into makeup for a very long time and I'm continuing to learn
different techniques and different looks every day
so I just wanted to share with you guys how I do my eyebrows
since I've gotten so many compliments on them, they don't turn out the same
each and every time and they're not perfect unless you're a perfectionist
or unless you're a perfect makeup artist. It's probably not going to turn out perfect the first
time or the second time!
but okay lets get started, Okay, first of all you want to have
an eyebrow pencil
I prefer brown for my eyebrows
since I have a light complexion I don't want my eyebrows to be
too dark. If you prefer black, you can use black.
You want to have
your eyebrows arched, have your brow area real clean so the
outcome will be better.
I'm going to try to look at the camera or the screen
to do this so I won't have a mirror in you guys face.
You want to basically..
sometimes I start (drawing) where my eyebrow starts
or sometimes I start a little past (middle) where my eyebrow starts
but I prefer to start right here, you just want to draw a simple line
following your eyebrow
as you can see I've plucked
my tail off, so I draw my tail on
and then, you basically want to start at the top, where you started at in the middle
or where you started at the bottom.
and then follow your eyebrow and then connect the tail
just like that! Then you want to
fill in that little space right there, with the eyebrow pencil
you want it to look natural
as possible
and this technique is really called eyebrow sculptiing
because it's not your natural eyebrow but you're going to make it look natural.
and you're going to sculpt it the way you want it to look
okay then you want to take
I got this brow color
it came actually in a package
it comes with brushes and color for your eyebrows
Essence of Beauty I think I got it from CVS
It comes with dark brown and light brown
powder
you can take a little sponge applicator
you want to take the darker brown
right here and
fill in your eyebrow wherever there's a gap at
just like that
you're going to stop at the middle, you're not going to go no further than that point right there
Then you want to take the lighter brown
which is right here
and
put it at the beginning of your eyebrow to give it
a really really natural
kind of blend.
and if you want it darker you can add a little bit of the
the darker brown
Now you want to take some concealer
to clean it up, I'm using this
medium beige concealer by Covergirl coverstick
it's messy, sorry you guys, it's messy but
that's what I use to clean up
my eyebrow
so you want to take that and I'm using this (small) angled brush by ELF
then
you want to start at the beginning of your eyebrow, I might need a mirror for this part
I'm going to have to get a mirror but you want to go
right under your eyebrow
you want to blend it
make it as clean as you can
add some concealer to the top of your eyebrow to make it more clean
hope I'm not blocking you guys from seeing what I'm doing
blend the top part in with your skin also
Sorry if I'm soft spoken, that's the way God made me!
probably have to turn up your volume to hear what I'm saying! lol
that's basically my eyebrow tutorial, that's how I do my eyebrows
you can see the difference between my left eyebrow
and my right one, thank you guys for watching
if you really want to blend in the concealer just add
some foundation and blend it in
so it won't be a big white space (or mess) surrounding your eyebrows
whatever you want to call it lol
Thank you guys! Talk to you later!
