Hi guys! I'm Matteo Bidoglia from GuitarTutorials
In this video I've showed you the song "Blue & Evil"
by Joe Bonamassa.
The main part of the song is represented by the opening riff
which is repeated for many times during the song.
It's a powerful rock riff, in which you can hear a little bit of Led Zeppelin.
In the song Bonamassa shows a catchy rock attitude instead of his well-known blues soul.
Talking about the guitar sound of the song
I suggest to use a good overdrive, but with gain not set too high
because the high gain sound has to be reached by an heavy picking style
as Joe Bonamassa usually do.
Do not go too far with the overdrive gain and work *** your pick.
In the description underneath the player
you'll find the link to download both the backing track and the tabs.
Don't forget to reply with your own videos to show what you can do.
See you for the next "How to play" episode.
