Review Curl Prep
Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. Top of the day to you and a hearty God bless
to you. I'm coming to you in the golden hour which is the last hour of the day with the
slight, it's supposed to be perfect for a video making and this MoringaWorkout here
on YouTube, Instagram and Twitter. It's the end of the day. I am a little bit tired but
I want to go ahead and get these videos out to you. So I got a little bit more strength
and so impressive so I'm going to do the final review of the Curl Prep Pre-wash, and the
Curl Prep Sweet Buttah. So if you want to hear this with me on these two products, please
stay tuned.
Okay. So, you may have seen me do my initial thoughts, impressions on this product and
if you follow me on Instagram, you probably have seen the pictures that I have posted
about this because I wanted to have your eyes as well as my eyes looking at my hair, how
my hair responds to this product. I don't want to bias because I had some negative experience.
So let me just start with the Curl Prep and I'm going to show a demo on the screen somewhere
of me actually using this. I used it twice and again it is the Curl Prep Pre-wash. Okay.
And it says, created with ingredients straight from the earth's core. Curl Prep prepare your
hair for your natural curly style, enriched with shea butter and minerals, the natural
ingredients in Curl Prep. Temporarily losing curls. The Curl prep formula will, one, Defines
curls; two, smooths and softens hair; three, locks in moisture; four, lengthens curls and
volumes. Contains one to two application depending on length of hair. So while I'm looking at
this let me look at the ingredients, shea butter, water, clay and mineral oils, essential
oils. So I, again, used this twice, I did not noticed and I'll just do this here. I
did not notice for the consistency is kind of running. It smells like the earth. If you're
somebody who's in the garden or lives by a garden, it smells like earth. It smells like
the earth. It is like a runny consistency. I just kind of and you'll see in the screenshot
there or the video that I'm going to put it up somewhere here where I'm applying on my
hair. It has great slip as like pre-poo in my mind. It did not lengthen my hair. That's
what I was looking to do so I would give these products for my hair a thumbs down. I wouldn't
purchase this again. Okay.
Second is the Curl Prep Sweet Buttah, okay. And let me give you shot of the ingredients.
I don't know if this going to focusing or not. I'm outside and there's a lot going here
today. Okay, for Sweet Buttah, for twist out wash and go moisture, locs and more. Do your
thing with this creamy concoction. The Buttery solution is perfect for hydrating your natural
hair and will give you funky two stands twist and more. Ingredients, shea butter, infused,
olive oil, wheat germ oil, goats milk and that's what attracting me to this product
was the goats milk. Marshmallow root, emulsified wax, stearic acid, vitamin E, preservative,
essential oils, Paraben, SLS, and alcohol free. Freshly made in East Orange, New Jersey.
Okay. So, when it's -- 'cause the first ingredient here is shea butter, I was expecting to be
like a butter, like hard. It is rich in creamy but I think, I think, I was talking to Kelly
with hair escapades because she's the one whom I learned about this from and she had
mentioning it too. I was thinking in my mind but the goats milk makes this like creamy
and soft. It has like sweet, sweet, sweet oil taste-- twists, taste -- sweet oil smell.
No, you don't want to be tasting this. It smells sweet like it says, smell sweet. It's
not long lasting so it's 8 ounces. I will annotate the price, I think it was 12 dollars
or something like that so it's not that expensive, a little bit goes along way. This is -- to
me in my mind. This is a 5 star product.
Now, let's get to why I was telling you I want it your eyes to be able to see the difference
in my hair. I ordered this and I had troubles with the shipping. I waited like three weeks
for the shipping. I reached out to the company via email and did not get a response. I had
to go to the point where I had not receive my product and now I received -- send them
three or four emails that someone did response to me and they said, they're going to shipped
it out and I still did not receive and I waited like another week, two weeks and I still didn't
received my product, to the point whether I had to escalate the PayPal and PayPal got
involved. I got a tracking number and the product came within like two or three days.
So, as a customer I really don't want to go that that if I purchase your product I want
to be able to get a tracking number and receive the product. So when I come to customer service
and shipping, I have to take two points off for this. So yes, it's a 5. This particular
is a five star but because of the shipping and because of the customer service it happened
to get PayPal involved, it goes down to three but this is a 5 start product.
Curl Prep, if you're watching. The only way I will purchase this is if you start moving
towards, sending out tracking numbers to your customers. I don't think that's too much to
ask. Okay. So maybe I'm alone, maybe I'm one in a million, one in a billion. What is your
experience been with the Sweet Buttah, particularly the customer service and the shipping? Thanks
for watching. I appreciate you so much. Until next time. Keep smiling.
