Hey guys what's up it me Dalvin here from YouTube. Com/techtime central
giving my full review of the bass egg portable bluetooth speaker. So starting
off with the design you can sort of tell where the
egg section of the name came from since the speaker looks a lot like two half
eggshells stacked together
The speaker mainly comes in black and has sort of a plastic build
which has a weight to it that makes you think there is some metal used in the
build
On the top you have this glass which makes it look good but I feel like they could've
incorporated something like a display for reading time
or the current song or something plus it collects some dust over time
The only real controls you can see are the on and off switch. The volume has to be
controlled from the main device so you can't raise the volume on the device and
speaker
limiting the amount of sound you can push out of the speaker. Connecting the speaker is simple by
moving the switch to bluetooth
and then go into your devices bluetooth section and you should see the
speaker in the bluetooth devices list
After that the speaker should automatically connect when you turn it on
Or you could just use 3.5 mm cable included
which also is used for charging the speaker. The sound you get from the bass egg
bearish what material you place it on
varies from what material you place it on. They say the quality of the mids, highs and lows varies between material
but I found that it sounded better on hard dense
surfaces. Here is a sample of the sound you get with the speaker.
still
I'm used
huh
The bass egg also provides a pretty good movie or tv show watching experience
when paired with a tablet or just your phone. Besides sound battery life is also
decent allowing for two days use
and even longer on standby and the only real complaint I could find
is that the bottom collects dust overtime but that could be fixed easy with some
tape
Even though the concept of the speaker is interesting the end result sounds a bit
distorted
which is a pretty common problem for most portable speakers although it seems
more noticeable on the bass egg
it also would have been nice to see a carrying pouch or something from mobile
use
But it's still one of the best designed speakers I've seen moving away from the
usual box or cylinder design
So that ends the video here. If you want to check the speaker out for yourself
and some alternatives like the color sonic speakers
for instance feel free to check the links and descriptions down below
Also feel free to follow me on twitter @techtimecentral to keep up with my videos
outside YouTube
and to check out what type of music I listen to and also tell me down below
in the comments what the last song you listened to was. I actually recently just
listened to the sugar rush ep from pixl
which I'll leave a link to down below. Don't forget also to subscribe by
hitting that button on the screen
or if your own a phone or tablet hit subscribe on the bottom right
on the video player
thanks for watching and I'll see you guys next time
