[MUSIC PLAYING - BENNI CINKLE, "CAN YOU SEE ME NOW"]
I'm Benni Cinkle, and I just released my music video for my
new song "Can You See Me Now." You may recognize me as that
girl in pink who danced awkwardly from Rebecca Black's
"Friday" video.
And what I did with that attention is I aimed it
towards charities.
So I officially have a nonprofit organization
entitled That Girl In Pink, and I use it to help charities
that affect kids.
My choreographer for the video was Miguel Zarate.
He's worked with Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus.
I wrote my song "Can You See Me Now" because of the stories
on SixBillionSecrets.com.
And the story and the message of the video is that no matter
what you're going through now, you can get through it, and
you can do whatever you want to do with your life.
My story in the video is cyber bullying.
The words on the projector screen in the video are the
words that I got called because I was in
the "Friday" video.
And the words change into butterfly wings, symbolizing
that all the negative energy and all the hate can be turned
into something better if you choose to make it better.
I love doing music.
I love singing.
But right now, it's all about the message, and getting the
message out, and making sure that people hear that there is
hope, and making a difference.
