Hello and welcome to pup play 101, the mosh pit edition.
My name is Gpup Alpha and today I hope to make your time in the mosh pit as enjoyable
as possible. Please take time to note these important tips to help ensure your journey
is smooth. Time in the mosh pit can sometimes be rough.
For this reason we highly recommend hand protection and knee protection. Boxing gloves can be
very very handy and I bought my knee protectors at the local hardware stores.
If you have any body piercings, loose jewellery that could get caught or collars with sharp
points on them it's really important, these are not suitable for the mosh pit.
If you do have piercings that can't come out it's really important to tape them before
you go into play. In all types of play accidents can happen.
The most common types of accidents include cuts, scrapes and rug burns from the carpet.
If you notice that a puppy has been hurt or injured in any way first make sure you grab
some gloves then guide the puppy out of the pit so you can administer first aid.
If the pup is bleeding grab a clean cloth or towel and press this firmly against the
wound for ten minutes. If the bleeding has not stopped after ten minutes continue firm
pressure and seek medical help immediately. Any wound that is deep, larger then two inches
or has not stopped bleeding or the pup is unwell, it's really important. These should
be reviewed by a medical professional as soon as possible.
If there is no bleeding gently clean the wound with cool water. You can pat it dry with a
paper towel and then apply a clean dry dressing that covers the area.
If your pup is feeling well and has had no more bleeding and his wound is covered, it's
great news. Your pup can head straight back into the fun.
Puppy play can get very warm and when pups are involved they sometimes forget. Make sure
you have a regular break and drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration. Remember if
you are already thirsty you're dehydrated. Guys I hope this has been helpful. I want
to make sure that all my pups have a great time and I'm looking forward to meeting you
guys soon in the next mosh pit. Have an awesome day, see you guys.
