couple ways that work very well you might want to consider is
what we call a magic random postal mail before
your client needs you so if you have businesses or industries that you know
are part of your normal
cultivated book of business send out postal mail
to other companies just like that if you have you know 100 companies that are in
one industry that you do business with
find another thousand just like them and send magic mail what is magic mail well
those are postal mail postcards that are
outside of an envelope so all the information can be read by anybody who
touches it
send it to those other company's colleagues of current customers
find that from LinkedIn send five mailers to each company
put no individual names on those mailers
only put titles send one to the CFO send one to the CEO
send one to the loading docks send one the sales department and send one with no
title
what happens is all those mailers go to the same company
the CEO gets it he's not going to be the one normally purchasing your product
but he will hand it to somebody who does because he's gonna know who buys your
product
that is a lead that's a referral because whoever buys your product now
gets handed your advertisement
from the CEO that's gonna give it a higher level are importance than just
getting it in the mail
the CFO was normally responsible for
the profit loss to the company in many cases they have a bonus if the company
makes money so they can
think they're gonna save money by using your product they may also pass it along
or have the buyer find out more information from your company
the one with no name will go to the mailroom or go to the receptionist
that receptionist will know who should get
your mailer and that way it will go to the right person why send it to the loading
dock well they're the ones who get inventory get
a deal with vendors and they may also have some input
and wanna have a great idea that they can bring to the right person having five
mailers go to different people will get you much more
leverage inside the company it will cost five times as much but you're gonna get a
return on your investment make sure that all your mailers have a separate phone
number
with no auto attendant you wanna have the person you're dealing with have VIP
treatment they call up
they talk to a person's voice right on the spot they don't have to go through
press one for this press two for that
