'Clean Homeland Campaign' in Giza
Lobna Sultan
We all gathered at the Mostafa Mahmoud Mosque..
..in order to find out how many volunteers we have..
..and divide them up over the various areas
One group went to Shehab and Syria Streets
Our group is here at the Makkah and Mohei al-Din Aboul Ezz Streets..
..and the area around the Shooting Club
It's a kind of awareness
Just standing on the street and cleaning spreads awareness..
..as cars stop to ask us what we are doing,
..so we talk to them
It is just a start in order for the campaign..
..to spread awareness to the residents..
..who see their neighbors sweeping and cleaning the area
Mohamed Adel, Architect
We are very optimistic..
..that this campaign will resonate
On another note, the youth who came..
..will encourage the authorities..
..and employees responsible for sanitation..
..to feel the importance of their role..
..and to see that people are interacting with them
Omar Helmy, Architect
When people see their streets becoming clean,
..this will spread awareness
When a person exerts an effort..
..to clean up his street, he won't throw garbage on it
Everyone likes cleanliness,
..and anyone who likes cleanliness..
..will clean the area they live in,
..even if they weren't the ones who threw the garbage..
..remove the garbage and then tell anyone..
..who throws garbage not to throw it
Egypt belongs to us all
We must all cooperate
As the Mohamed Morsy electoral campaign said..
..during the second round of elections,
..our strength comes from our unity
There is no group, movement or political party..
..that can change this country on their own
We must all cooperate..
..and care about the country's best interests
Anyone who was doing anything wrong..
..must stop this wrongdoing on their own,
..such as throwing paper out of the window,
..paying bribes, obstructing traffic
Anyone who can fix something should do so..
..as this is in our country's best interest.
