Hi!
I don't know what that was
Lets start that over again
Hi, i've decided to start a blog
because I've been thinking about going to Japan
and a lot of the videos on youtube I have been watching are
all about people that are already in japan
the have some really good uh... information in them on
how did you can get to Japan
*burp* excuse me
the have very good information on them on how to get to Japan
but and these people aren't actually going through the process
so i a have this idea in my head that I want to go to japan
and i thought i would make a blog
kind of documenting the process that i have to go through to go to Japan
um... the reason i want to go to japan
is kind of
interesting when i was growing up and
I thought Japan was just
really cool
I watched a lot of Sailor Moon
and played a lot of games that came from japan
we had a nintendo growing up and things like that, I played so much GameBoy!
uh... so
that way always interesting to me but when I
was growing up and get teased a little bit and somebody called me an otaku
maybe a weeaboo
I dont really know
but somebody teased me about one in japan and that put me off of the whole thing
i wouldn't say I was really sensative growing up
but it's...you know there's a lot of initiatives now that are anti-bullying
and cyber bullying
but they didn't really have that uh... i never got beat up or anthing
but
their are kids that did
that were
uh... beat-up a lot
i was very fortunate
that I didn't ever have to get in a fight
but you know I could probably scrap
I went to college and
actually switched my interest to china
because...i don't know
i always found asian men attractive and thought "If I can't have a japanese guy
I'll get a chinese one"
actually I was dating a chinese guy at the time
that could have influenced my
perspective a bit
I end up
getting a minor chinese. I have minor chinese that I graduated with
so speak a little bit of Chinese
and uh... it was just really excited about going to China, I wanted to
do the TEFL program the "Teaching English as a Foreign Language"
program in in china
You have to have a degree to get a lot of those positions
so i was kind of biding my time too
wait to graduate but...
then there was this..
the university messed up some of my paper work
so i had completely
completed all of my courses to a satisfactory level
but being didn't record it one of the teachers
didn't record that i had finished the program
I had a correspondence course that i was doing and the teacher
hadn't said that I completed it
so I had to go though all this paperwork and it was kind of a pain but it took and extra year for me to
to get my
degree
and by then...I mean I couldn't just sit around for years so i ended up finding another job
and i was
as uh...
i start working with a design company in
where i lived
I started working with a design company
so
I did that for while. China was always very interesting to me
so I was i was watching a lot of videos about english teaching
in China and then you know on sidebar *points to side bar*
maybe it is on this side. I don't know.
There was a lot of videos about teaching English in Japan
it rekindled my interest in japan from when i was growing up
so i started watching these videos
I like the myhusbandisjapanese channel
I watched all of her videos
what is the other something jedi? *cafinejedi*
I watched all of her videos, too
It was very interesting to me about teaching
english in japan and I got all these
different perspectives and I thought
it was really fun
Plus I did a lot of research
about going to china and since
graduating I got a dog and when you go to china with the dog there is
thirty days of quarantine if you decide to move there
that your dog has to be in before it's released into China and that's not not
hong kong's but main land and that is where i really wanted to go
so
unfortunately
I kind of marked China off
until maybe
later in life
in japan if you get all of your paperwork done correctly
you can have your dog only quarantined for a day
maybe only hours
I need to do a little more research and when I do I will let you know
I'm not to that step yet
i went to go get my passport
and then i realized i can't find my birth certificate
so *laughs*
I canceled that and had to write to the state i was born in
and have them issue me another birth certificate. So I just got that in the mail
recently
and i'm planning on going and getting my passport, or at least filling out the
documentation
to get my passport
I have been told it can take up to eight months to get a passport
i don't need it immediately so it doesn't matter to me
when I get it but it is something I should invest in because if I go to
china on vacation or move to Japan or want to go to
europe
I am going to need a passport
i think it's just a good idea to have a passport
you never know when the apocalypse might come in you need to get out of the
country
yeah that's that's what's up
this video sponsored by Cherry Coke Zero
not really, if you are Coke please don't
sue me for pretending like my video is sponsored by you
alternatively
string cheese
made by
not even gonna say
that's kind of where i am at in my quest for japan
I have my birth certificate
I have done a little but of dog researched and when i get my passport i will let you know and
then i'll move on to the next step
i'm going to
see what i need to do so that's where i'm at right now I am sorry for the poor
quality I do have a nice camera
that does video
but I don't have a tripod for it right now I am using the camera in my laptop which
I think is an ok camera, too
Hopefully my next video
will be in
better quality
I just need to go
get like a little mini desk tripod anyway thank you for watching
and uh... i'll keep you updated
