Hi, today I would like to talk about serums.
First of all, I would like to say that
I don't believe that over the counter serums
or creams can reverse the signs of ageing
nor stop aging.
If you want to know about it more, you can visit my blog.
Go to www.minsbeautyequipment.com,
find the "Search this blog" box,
type in there something like "creams that don't work".
click "Search"
and at the top you will find article called "Tired from anti-ageing creams that don't work".
This article explains why anti-aging creams don't work.
They alter appearance, but they don't do much in terms of reversing the signs of aging.
And the same pretty much applies to serums as well,
so I would recommend to read this article.
My two favorite serums are Estee Lauder, The Idealist.
I use it in the morning, it illuminates my skin, makes my skin glowing,
so it's beautiful, and Advanced Night Repair Serum.
It evens out wrinkles, so I use it at night.
Estee Lauder range is quite expensive,
so, I thought, I would try to find some alternative serums that are
a lot cheaper than Estee Lauder serums.
I bought three serums. One of them is Dermier Collagen.
It feels quite sticky on my skin, so I don't particularly like that.
It has very good reviews on Amazon though.
However, most of the people reviewing it, use it together with derma rollers,
so, I suspect, that all the positive result people are achieving are due to derma rollers
rather than the serum itself.
Hyaluronic serum plus vitamin C.
It feels just like water.
After a few uses I used up two thirds of the bottle,
so, only a third of the serum is left.
I find this particularly expensive.
I'm going to use it after derma rollers though,
because it has vitamin C, which has beautiful collagen boosting qualities
and skin becomes particularly permeable after derma rollers
so whatever goodness this serum has, hopefully that the skin will be able to take it in.
And one more serum which actually is as good as Estee Lauder.
It's really beautiful. It costs only 9 quid.
It's called Pure Collagen Anti-ageing serum.
Unfortunately, for whatever reason I can't see it being sold anywhere anymore.
So, I won't be buying it again.
