Let's get to the interesting part. How does the Sustainiac sound when it's switched on?
There are 3 modes: The first one is the "normal mode", which holds the notes as long until you get pissed off or until the battery runs out.
It sounds like that.
You can blend that mode with the old tone control into the "harmonic mode", which creates overtones. So the tone function gets lost.
That's the pure AWESOMENESS!!!
Then there's the last mode, the "mix mode". It's not a mix between the first two modes, but a mix between 2 different harmonic modes.
That's so awesome!!!
And now let's hear the Sustainiac with some background stuff.
Oh, I almost forgot something important. There are 3 different types the Sustainiac singlecoil can sound.
What you heard up to now (part 1) was the basic setting. But there are 2 more options, depending on how you solder some specific wires.
One option is to get a more darker sound from the singlecoil, a bit like a humbucker. Another option is to get a brighter sound, which is more like a singlecoil.
We're now at the end of the demonstration. If you want to know more about the Sustainiac,...
there are lots of different possibilities instaling the whole thing, then take a look at the official website. I hope you enjoyed the video. See you next time :)
