Everybody talks about international business. All business is international, and I think
that that’s one of the things that through case studies and through working with people
from all over the world you automatically start to think on an international scope.
It’s not just, “How does this affect my firm?” it’s like, “How do I maintain
a competitive advantage against other firms that are in this field, against other industries?
How can I bring other best practices into my organization?” And I think it’s that
kind of like innate learning that you’re able to gain after you‘re taught and you
don’t even realize during the process; that it’s something that’s almost automatic
that you approach. And I think that that’s just really the essence of what general management
and an MBA kind of gives you is, it gives you that lens of approaching all problems
as a manager and finding a solution with them.
