A Game of Thrones star is ready to throw in the towel. Jack Gleeson, who plays the easy-to-hate
King Joffrey on the hit HBO fantasy drama, has announced his plans to retire from acting
at the young age of 21. The actor revealed on the Saturday Night Show that he'll be cutting
ties with his acting career once his commitment to Game of Thrones is over. "The lifestyle
that comes with being an actor in a successful TV show isn't something I gravitate towards,"
he explained. We're sure all the Joffrey hate mail hasn't been too fun either. Do you think
an early retirement for Jack is a good idea, or is he too good at playing evil to give
up now? Sound off in the comments, and stick with us for more TV scoop from Celebified.
