Short lens,
we want lots and lots of depth of focus
So we're gonna use F
twenty-two or more,
or smaller
Highest F number you can find in the shop.
so that means that
anything above two inches in front of us
is absolutely a focus anyway,
pretty much anything more than, i don't know a quarter of a meter away is also in focus. We've got that boat
going on there, so oh that's cracking.
Get really close,
because you wanted it strong in the foreground,
how far away are we, oh that's good. That's very strong, right so
we've got, can you see that?
Clear and huge in the picture, yep and it's
absolutely bitingly sharp, my focus
because of the one-third in front
two-thirds behind this
you focused there, I focused about there
So F twenty-two, i'm sure that this
with the depths of focus would stretch about here
if not more
and anything from there
off to the horizon
will be workers in focus, pretty much. Oh course you're gonna prove me wrong now
but erm yeah, okay.
So that it works it's quite an interesting picture, play with mine because mines
got a very wide lens, erm have a go
for yourself.
i've got it on aperture priority at the moment, you could do it manually.
Now the thing with photography is don't be afraid to you know get on the ground, look
at it here, let people step over you, they love it.
No i'm on auto, so i would put the gun sight where i want to focus, hold it and then recompose.
