This week, I am going to show you how to make a Flash based
portfolio, in a very common layout. What you see on the stage
is that I have 3 images, left center and right
You are going to do this with ten images. Please do use real
images, either your artwork, or whatever photos you choose
these are pictures of my new puppy. In the library each one is in a
different movie clip.
If you look at the left thumbnail
I have it set up with five frames
let me move this out of the way
Each frame
moves to another picture of the puppy. The center
is identical, except, the order has changed
what was frame number one in the left
movie clip is frame number two in the center movie clip, and frame number 3 in the right
hand side. When you are viewing the
scene, on the left you see the picture that you will get if you click on the thumbnail
and the right you see the picture that you will get if you click this one
so you will need to create your movie clips with
ten images in each clip
and they will be pretty much the same, with the order changed slightly
the only code I have started with, is I have selected
using my path finder, each of my
items, and I have added a
stop statement to the end, so that when I test it
nothing is happening. this is step one,
you need to set up your movie clips, and stop them all
when you have that done, go on to step two.
