[Background music] Sometimes when you do that early intervention with the
children, for example, maybe a speech child, they might be able to get out of
speech or not have that disability any longer and work through that.
And so working with the community partners that way, you avail those
resources to parents and to the children, and then you are helping them with
interventions earlier rather than later, when it becomes more difficult.
- Some of these kiddos who are three years old and in childcare may not have
been identified until they walked through that kindergarten door.
And now, at age three, those centers, you know, have taken what we’ve done with
the 4K program and started using that in their three-year-old programs.
And those kids are getting identified a whole lot sooner
and getting services a whole lot sooner.
