We didn't meet up in our first year.
We did. Sue and I met in our first year.
We met on A103.
But we only said hello to each other.
We were formal.
Yes, it was a large group.
And now the three of us have become very good friends.
We've had some terrible crises, haven't we, over the last six years?
Sorry, I'm doing my usual thing. Please get a word in.
I was just going to say that we all met in the second year
doing History of Art.
Which was a very enjoyable course.
One of the best courses.
Wonderful tutors.
You don't cheat when you've got somebody who's very clever like Sue
and copy all her good answers.
What a terrible thing to say!
We used to discuss things and it made a big difference
because there'd always be times
where someone was struggling with whatever personal crisis they had.
We have actually run the gamut of personal crises.
Yes, we've ticked all the boxes for personal crises.
Yes, we certainly have.
But basically, being together we were able to support one another
and it made it very worthwhile.
Yes, it did.
Especially the TMA each month.
Because the minute you have to start,
we'd ring each other and put off that moment.
Cleaning the windows, vacuuming
and everything else you have to do to put off the TMA.
