My name is Susan Ting, I'm a potter with Zenclay Galleries Studio and Cafe. On behalf of Expert
Village and I welcome you here and this time I'm going to show you how to make a tile table.
Brush off all the excess of the clay. Try not to bend the piece because while it's drying
if it's bent it will warp.
Make sure all edges are smooth, including all the carved pieces. Once they are all cut you will have all these
little pieces, make sure you have them all. Once it's cut and we'll put aside and let it dry totally.
It'll take about a day to dry and once it's dry we'll fire a bisque firing and put it
into the bisque kiln which it would fire to 1900 degrees. From then on the next step we
will glaze it and then we'll go into the big kiln to fire it again and that will about
12 hours in the electric kiln.
