Com2uS company introduction
Com2uS developed and serviced a mobile game in 1999,
and it was the first in Korea at that time.
In 2008, we began developing and releasing a smart phone game
before any other company in Korea.
Why did you choose AdMob?
At that time, our main game, Tiny Farm, had 10 million users worldwide
and 7 million users in Korea.
Since we had already tried many different CPI network,
it was difficult to acquire users who would use the app for longer period of time from other media network.
And AdMob had a highly-developed targeting solution.
The biggest appeal was that AdMob was able to target the campaign
at new users.
What are AdMob's advertising strengths?
First, the target can be fragmented.
We were able to target users who hadn't downloaded the app yet
through the remarketing option,
and it was very useful to group target users by age and gender.
And it was possible to optimize the app line
by removing apps with a poor record
and focusing more on apps with a good record.
Second, download tracking was possible.
Therefore, it was possible to track down
which user group made downloads by post analysis.
Lastly, it was the detailed reports.
AdMob allowed us to analyze all the details
regarding number of clicks, download cost, etc. daily,
so that we could make a decision
and carry out an optimization task quickly.
How was the campaign performance?
The most meaningful outcome was that
there was a growing influx of advanced users into the game.
First, it was the retention rate in the game.
Users who flowed in from the target campaign
showed a retention rate
two to three times higher than users who flowed in by other means.
Second, the purchase rate has increased.
The purchase rate of users from the target campaign was 30% higher
than the rate of users who flowed in from Google Play Store voluntarily
without being exposed to the AdMob campaign.
Lastly, the purchase amount of users from the campaign
was higher than other users.
Since the retention period is longer and the purchase rate is higher,
the ROI increased as well.
How are you going to use AdMob from now on?
It is difficult to win customers with the old 'push marketing'.
Since AdMob's targeting campaign is very effective,
we are planning to work with AdMob for our upcoming games
to find the right users for the games.
In particular, AdMob has the global network
that connects us to the rest of the world.
Our expectations are high
for the second, third, and fourth market globally that AdMob will bring to us.
