Hello Everybody!I'm here with a new video.
Today I'll talk about the tools and papers I use to do my artworks
First of all I want to thank you Svee Weeler Artist that worked on this quick intro
and then thank you so much to all the people who watched and liked the video!
Now I'll show you the paper I use for my artworks
First of all this small "Moleskine" sketchbook,it's really small
I use it for my quick sketches…as you can see
I'm trying to show you my less nude sketches
this paper is really good, unfortunately it have a little yellow tone.
anyway is really simple blend pencils on this sketchbook.
Then there's this small sketchbook in recycled paper
I use it just few times,as you can see the paper have a soft brown tone.
It's good but I don't like it too much…maybe for the tone of the paper.
Now the paper I use for my "Full Body" Pin Up,I really like it!
Fabriano paper (an italian brand),the size of the paper is A4
but usually I work on A2 which is bigger.this paper is really smooth.
I'm trying to show you a couple of artworks…
I don't want to be banned from youtube!Anyway…
it's a smooth paper as I told,I find it really good.
Then I bought recently from an English website some Strathmore papers
a lots of artists use this brand of paper
but I don't like work on it
this is the smooth version…but it's really too smooth
I find really hard smooth pencils
anyway I'll still try to do some exercises on it.
The I bought also the vellum version
but for my kind of artworks it's too rough
Then I bought a strathmore sketchbook toned grey
I find it really amazing!I really like it!
That's the first time I work on this kind of paper…grey paper
I'll continue to work on this paper,I would like to do some "full body" pin up on it
I like use this paper with a white pastel for the highlights…it's Amazing!
Here you can see one of my artworks…as always you cha find the on Facebook 0:03:50.000,0:03:53.000 obviously I cover it…she's a little bit nude…
Those are the white pastels I used for the artwork
I find really good the one of Faber Castell,it's really soft.
there's also this Derwent pastel but it's a little bit harder
I've also this album of "Winsor and Newton"
I use this too for quick sketches…some doodles…and exercises
you can find all my works on Facebook
The I bought this set of Cretacolor grey pastels
Probably I'll use them in the future.
Then the pencil I use…are Steadtler,I find them really good!
This set contain the pencils from 2H to 8B
usually I use 2/3B rarely 4B…I work a lot with harder pencils
the 2b is the one i use for the outline, eyes…on the darkest part of the artwork
Usually in the description of my artworks I use 2H,H,F,B and 2B for outlines
then the blender,I use the to blend small details.
Then there's this pencil…this is a Derwent Onyx
It's really good,I rarely use it…it's dark an 8B (I think)
The specialty of this pencil is the really hard graphite so you can work on small details
Ok,those are the tools that I use for my artworks
Ok I think we are close to the end of the video
as always leave me some comments and likes…I hope to reach 50 likes
leave me some questions and I'll reply on the next video
also if in the next video I would like to talk about the use of reference pics
I'll try to show you how I work on the outlines, shapes angles and curves
Well see you on the next video!
