That was "Into the wind" sung by Joni Mitchell
We'll carry on with our coverage of the opening ceremony
But at this time I'd like to introduce a couple of random Portuguese speakers who we picked off
the street to join our team for our Olympics coverage.
Joining us next Wednesday for our coverage of the snowboard event is former
Weakest Link contestant and Brazilian halfpipe champion Gabriel Cohen
Alongside him is 13 year old Kelly Oliveira who will be commentating on ice-skating
First, I'd like to ask our snowboarding expert Gaybarrel Cohen what his thoughts are
on the Olympic snowboarding event
Top of the morning Lidia and good evening Susan
This promises to be an extremely exciting halfpipe event with some of the coolest MOFOs in sport
King of the gnarlys Shaun White is going to be breaking out some new tricks such as the curly dog...
... the twisty thingy and of course his trademark boom goes the dynamite
It's going to be awesome, totally epic
These riders are going to be getting their freak-on and dropping bombs like it's 1999
The half pipe is crunchy and these totally rad air dogs are ready to hit it.
The athletes are also wearing special anti HAIF pants- (High-Altitude Induced Flatulence); a big problem in 2006
The evening start also gives the competitors time to chillax with a Bill & Ted movie after a night on the tiles
At the end of the day it's going to be totally dope
Thank you Gabriel for your insightful views. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday
Peace out
Super stuff there from our experts
And now back to the action
