Eric Vezain, winegrower, Château Canteloup: Blaye au Comptoir is a promotional campaign for our wines in different cities.
We started with Paris, now Bordeaux, for the last six years.
The aim is conviviality, to introduce people to our wines.
We get very good feedback from customers in the different restaurants.
Vincent L'Amouller, winegrower, Château Fredignac: It's an event that's made for them, so I think they love it,
they discover an appellation that is little-known in Bordeaux.
And it's really great for us winegrowers and for our appellation.
We need it, we need to be known in Bordeaux – and everywhere else in the world too, but above all in Bordeaux.
Pascal Pochon, restaurateur, Chez Pascal: For the customers it's an opportunity to talk to a winegrower directly,
it's not something people who buy wine every day often get.
Eric Vezain: There's been a very good welcome for Blaye wines from all the customers.
It's very positive.
Frédéric Vigouroux, restaurateur, Le Bouchon Bordelais: There's a real interest for the customers,
they like to see the person who made the wine,
the person who is making the argument for it,
the person who can talk about it.
Marylène Routurier, winegrower, Château Morange: Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux is becoming an institution and for brasseries and everyday restaurants
it's a wine that offers good value for money.
Pascal Pochon: It's a pleasant surprise to have a wine-based event and on the whole customers welcome it with open arms.
Vincent L'Amouller: Seeing a winegrower in a restaurant, it's something that doesn't usually happen,
so it's a unique occasion, and that's Blaye au Comptoir.
