Boo haus! Boo haus! Boo haus!
You can get a Fire Flower from one of these question blocks, and light that torch here to get a wonderful Mushroom.
Because, y'know, if you have a Fire Flower you really need a Mushroom.
I like to think that they added this little alcove here specially for the Special Worlds.
i.e I don't think they just made the alcove for the normal world 1UP.
Well, that sucked.
So here's the same stage but with Boomerang Bros. and a timer shortage...
Gotta keep the stages original, y'know.
Really, me?
This one gave me a lot of trouble the first time through.
Also, this stage is reused the second time, I think.
Must've really liked how they reused this concept from Galaxy 2.
Which means this is a reuse of a reused stage, reused from a reuse.
Next up we have this stage with very few minor changes.
And, well, the rest of the stage can go eat itself.
So here they introduce the Giant Cosmic Mario...
Not sure how this makes the stage harder than a normal cosmic Mario.
I mean, I guess the hitbox is slightly bigger, but that's about it.
Ah ***, I midjudged the placement, god dammit.
*turns 3D on*
I don't know why I opened those Poisons again, I knew they were there...
He broke the pillar before I could jump. Welp...
So here's 1-2 backwards.
Also, I like how there was no Cosmic Mario introduction for this level despite there being one in it.
Oh, and, this music here is the Drawing Mario song that NoA did, which is pretty cool.
Anyway, this stage requires you to get a Tanooki Suit out of a roulette block, which I fail to do twice...
Therefore cut.
I just grabbed one from S1-1.
This one here takes me a few tries, so jumpcut here as well...
I think this is another reuse of a reuse of a reuse, too, by the way.
I like the 3rd Star Coin here, it's actually not something I'd think of.
Well, I haven't used one of these yet, so why not.
Charger grab here.
And, here we are, at the final castle.
...which is a reuse of the fake castle. BOO, NINTENDO. BOO. At least make the final level original, you shmucks.
So the game tells you to defeat the normal worlds' final castle again to get a picture of Peach in a Tanooki suit, but I don't care.
To get 100% completion, you also have to get to the top of all the flagpoles, and beat all levels with both Mario and Luigi. To which...*shrug*
Just gonna play the final level on my already completed file. Not playing all of the stages again, for the 8th time.
Also, as with all of the levels, Tanooki Mario breaks a lot of this...but I also, genuinely don't care. Just want to have this done.
Also, this is very similar to SMG2's "Grandmaster Galaxy"...
...in that it's a very hard stage gotten after getting everything else in the game...
But also nowhere AS hard. Definitely difficult, but compared to SMG2's level, it's easy peasy. Especially the Perfect Run.
Like, if evil could be expressed in binary form...it'd just generate a video of the Perfect Run stage.
And that would be Super Mario 3D Land.
Here are the stats...well, partial stats, anyway.
25 deaths. Pretty good. Anyway, thanks for watching and see you next time.
Strawberries.
