Now, the Match EQ is a very unique type of EQ. What it lets you do, it lets you read
the EQ of another track. So, if you have some type of audio file or some acapella track,
what it'll do is it will allow you copy the EQ that person put on that track, which could
be useful depending on where you are. If you have a very flat room and it's kind of the
same thing as what they have, it will be very helpful. But depending on where you are, it
might not be as useful to you. So, what we're going to do is we're going to show you how
to get to the Match EQ by going into the EQ. Click into Match EQ, you can actually see
that you need to find a template and actually words and matches. So you can actually find
the piece and analyze a certain piece of audio, copy it and then apply it to your audio file
that you're trying to EQ. This is very helpful if you're trying to achieve a certain sound
or maybe, like a telephone sound, that matches somebody else's sound. Depending on where
you're at or depending on the engineer that you're using -- maybe you're at a studio and
you want to use a type of sound that another person has used at that studio. This is a
perfect way of doing it.
