where your money goes and help you budget and save.
There are two ways of using this tool,
you can either choose the profile which fits you best, so if a couple with
children tap adult, adult and then child.
Notice how the tab below changes to reflect the status of single
or double income family with and without pets.
If you choose double income family, this will show you the estimated expenses for
a family.
You can change any amount you like to make it more accurate to your lifestyle
and spending habits,
just tap start pre populated budget to begin, or if you prefer you can
choose a blank budget and add your own income and expense details as you go.
All the information you add to the budget planner will be saved on your phone.
Review your income and amend the amounts as necessary.
Consider all forms of income including bonuses, investments and government benefits.
To change any of the amounts tap on the category and it will change to a slider,
which you can move to increase or decrease the amount.

You will notice the payment frequency on the right hand side,
if you wish to change it from F - Fortnightly to M - Monthly or weekly,
just tap and select the new frequency.
Once you've updated your income
let's look at expenses. You can view your expenses at different time periods to
see the costs weekly
fortnightly
monthly or yearly.
Each of the categories expand to include more details, update each of the expense items
and your payment frequency.
If you choose to include, for example your credit card payment monthly, but
want to look at your total expense categories as a yearly figure,
the budget planner will recalculate this for you. Use the arrow to close the
category and open the next one.
To change any of the amounts, tap on the category and use the slider or,
tap on the amount and change it using the keypad and press done.
You can now see wheather you have a surplus, income is greater than expenses,
or a deficit,
where you're spending more than you earn.
You can also change the frequency to see what it means over different time periods,
weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
You can review your expenses to see where your money is going and edit
the details. If you would like to set new goals and see how changes you've
made to your income or expenses will help you save,
